A West End Christmas 2008

A West End Christmas 2008

Sunday, 30 November 2008

This year's Christmas gift from London's West End stars was bigger and better than ever, and this was reflected in the sell-out audience.

Soloists and companies joined together in an evening of Christmas celebration at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden, also known as The Actors' Church.

Well known faces from stage & screen including David Soul, Michael Praed and Jessie Wallace delighted the audience with festive readings, together with musical treats from West End favourites Josefina Gabrielle, Alasdair Harvey, Michael Cantwell, Jimmy Johnston, Louise Dearman, Jon Robyns & Amy Booth-Steel; as well as offerings from the casts of Spamalot, Grease, Les Miserables, The Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera. And of course, there were the traditional mulled wine & mince pies to add to the festive cheer!

A West End Christmas is now well & truly established as one of our, and the Theatre industry's, must-attend fundraising events.
