the flicker club proudly presents...

Guys and Dolls (U) featuring Brando, Sinatra & Jean Simmons in their glorious prime, preceded by the original Damon Runyon short story.

Guys & Dolls is a musical, with the music and lyrics written by  Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, based on 'The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown' and 'Blood Pressure', two short stories by Damon Runyon. It also borrows characters and plot elements from other Runyon stories, most notably 'Pick the Winner'. It ran for 1,200 performances and won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm reading of the original short story by our surprise special guest and film screening at 7.50pm
