The Charity raises substantial funds for those facing hardship as a result of HIV and AIDS, making grants to organisations which:

• Provide home-based care and practical help for individuals and communities living with HIV and AIDS;
• Provide specialist primary and secondary care for those living with HIV and AIDS;
• Promote HIV and AIDS awareness and education.

The majority of grants to HIV and AIDS organisations are UK-oriented, with selected grants being made to international projects in Africa. In-keeping with the nature and fundraising activities of The Make A Difference Trust, a particular emphasis is placed on projects which make use of the creative arts.
