Our Grant Making

The situation for MAD at present is very challenging.  All our funds are raised through our theatre events. Due to the current situation we have had to cancel West End Eurovision, West End Bares, A MAD Drag Night, and all Cabarets.  As the vast majority of theatres seem set to remain closed until 2021, we will also not be able to do our World AIDS Bucket Collection Appeal.

All of which leaves us without any income for 2020.

Therefore, the board of trustees have made the difficult decision to suspend our grant making until further notice.

The Trust has distributed over £1.6 million in grants to support individuals experiencing hardship across the UK. In addition we have provided over £1.5 million to support projects with our UK and international partners, to relieve poverty, provide a safe environment and education for children and orphans affected by HIV and AIDS and to secure the needs of the individual and the greater community as a whole.

Our UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society.

Here is a HUGE THANK YOU to our many and varied supporters; it shows some of the projects that the MAD Trust helps fund.
Funding that simply would not be possible without your support. Thank You!
